Thirty-five years ago, in late June 1963, President John F. Kennedy visited Ireland to a resounding reception. The beginning of "The Kennedys: America's Emerald Kings" begins with JFK's speech in New Ross, not far from the Dunganstown farm where his great-grandfather, Patrick Kennedy, left for America.
